My pantry item looks overdue

FoodAureo’s expiry indicators are estimates based on when an ingredient was added and a general planning window. They do not guarantee food safety. Check the package, storage instructions, appearance and smell, and follow authoritative food-safety guidance. You can edit an item’s details in the Pantry tab.

A recipe does not show the match I expected

Check that the ingredient names are present in Pantry and review any recipe filters. Ingredients marked as always available in Settings also count towards matching.

A missing ingredient is already on my shopping list

FoodAureo normally merges equivalent ingredient names rather than adding another row. Open Shopping List to review the existing item and its quantity.

Voice entry is unavailable

In iOS Settings, check that FoodAureo has Microphone and Speech Recognition permission. Voice availability can also depend on Apple’s speech service. Typed pantry and shopping-list entry remains available.

I need to export or remove my data

Open FoodAureo → Settings → Data management. You can export the pantry as JSON or delete all pantry data. FoodAureo’s local-first design means there is no remote account or server copy for us to retrieve.
